BANKWEST REFINANCE CASHBACK

$2,000 cashback when you refinance to Bankwest by 31 May 2023

Loan must be disbursed by 31 August 2023. Min. refinance amount $250k. For borrowings up to 90% (including lenders mortgage insurance) of the property value. Excludes refinances from Bankwest and CommBank.

Eligibility

Home loan cashback promotion is available to Australian residents aged 18+ who refinance a property with a new Bankwest home loan.

• Offer is available on all home loan applications from verified eligible customers who refinance their existing home loan with a new Bankwest home loan product during the offer period stated
• ‘Refinance’ is defined as moving an existing home loan with another financial institution to Bankwest, excluding existing Bankwest or CommBank home loans
• Maximum loan to value ratio (LVR) 90% including lender’s mortgage insurance (LMI)
• Limit of one cashback payment per customer group, regardless of the number of applications, applicants or properties involved. A ‘customer group’ is defined as the potential combination of customers on a home loan application. Where a home loan has more than one applicant and one applicant receives the cashback, all applicants are deemed to have received the cashback
• Bankwest reserves the right to verify the validity of eligible customers including their identity and application details and reserves the right to disqualify the customer if they are engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct deemed to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the offer
• If all offer eligibility requirements are met, subject to credit approvals of the home loan, eligible customers will receive cashback amount transferred electronically into their new home loan account within 60 days after loan disbursement
• Where an Eligible Customer has more than one home loan account, Bankwest will determine which account the cashback amount will be transferred into. The customer cannot nominate an account
• Eligible customers who receive the cashback into a fixed rate home loan account can access their cashback by completing a Home Loan Access Request form and submitting it to Bankwest online or at any branch
• The cashback cannot be used towards the serviceability of the home loan and is not transferable
• Tax consequences may arise from this cashback payment and eligible customers should seek their own independent tax advice. Bankwest accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from this cashback payment
• Bankwest reserves the right to review, amend and/or terminate the cashback offer at any time
• This offer is not available in conjunction with any other Bankwest promotion.
